President
Rev. Dr. Katherine Baker-Rose

Reverend Dr. Katherine E. Rose is a native of Milford, Delaware where she attended and graduated from the Delaware Public School System. As a young adult relocated to Philadelphia where she attended and graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Welfare. Reverend Rose holds a Master of Divinity degree from The Lutheran Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. She has served God and the people of St. Paul-Harrington, Delaware, St. Paul (Elmwood)-Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mt. Zion-Darby, Pennsylvania, Mt. Pisgah-Lawnside, New Jersey, and currently Bethel-York, Pennsylvania. Reverend Rose is the widow of the late John J. Rose, the proud mother of Dionne Grant, LaTona Bader, Alex Rose, and the grandmother of Avery, Andre, and Abriea Grant of Philadelphia.  

Vice-President
Rev. Frank I. Smart

Reverend Smart is currently the senior pastor of St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Reverend Smart has additionally provided innovative pastoral leadership to some of African Methodism’s historical pulpits including Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church of Pilesgrove, New Jersey and St. Paul A.M.E. Church of Malvern, Pennsylvania.  Prior to Reverend Smart’s pastoral appointments, he served as the Minister to Youth and Young Adults at St. Matthew A.M.E. Church of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the Allen Temple A.M.E. Church of Cincinnati, Ohio. In addition to his ministerial career, Reverend Smart is a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated and has provided distinguished and strong leadership to each community he has served.  Known for his ability to minister in the church and the streets, Reverend Smart proclaims like the Apostle Paul, “To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law (1 Corinthians 9:20).”

Secretary
Rev. Nancy L. Jackson

Rev. Nancy Louise Jackson   attended LaSalle University and received her BA in Secondary Education and Jamison Seminary where she received her Master’s degree in Biblical Studies.

 

She was ordained a Local Elder, May 27, 2007. She is member of Zion AME Church where she is a Missionary, the minister of Outreach, the Coordinator of the Food Ministry and the Christian Education Director.

 

She is the secretary of the Ministerial Alliance of Philadelphia, Harrisburg and Vicinity, and the Administrative Assistant of the Philadelphia Conference Women In Ministry.

 

Her favorite scripture is “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15 (NIV)

Assistant Secretary
Rev. Ruth Gibbons

Reverend Ruth Gibbons born in South Carolina has been a member of Jones Tabernacle African Methodist Episcopal Church since 1973. She is an Alumni member of Deliverance Bible Institute. She received her Theology diploma from Deliverance 1997, and was ordained as a Local Elder in the A.M.E. Church in May of 2009.

 

Rev. Gibbons has published two books on poetry and has written and produced two plays. As the Superintendent of Church School in her local church Rev. Gibbons knows the importance of teaching God’s Word to His people. She has been the Adult Church School Teacher for over 10 years.

 

She has also faithfully served as a member of the Jones Tabernacle choir and headed their Wednesday Night Prayer Band. But most of all she is a child of the King!

 

Her favorite scripture is:

“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.”~Romans 12:3 (KJV)

Treasurer
Rev. Lugenure Jones

Rev Lugenure M Jones is the one hundred pastor of Historic Bensalem AME Church. She recently retired from PNC Bank as Assistant Vice President -Manager after 40 years.

 

She is the mother of four children and 7 grandchildren. She is active in the Christian Business Women, Women in Business Empowerment, Footprint Financial Literacy for Youth, and 50 Plus Club. Pastor Jones understand that The Lord is her Shepherd and He will provide.

Parliamentarian
Rev. Dr. Esther Seales

The Rev. Dr. Esther L. Seales is Parliamentarian for the Ministerial Alliance of Philadelphia, Harrisburg, and Vicinity. She is the proud Pastor-Teacher of Tyree A.M.E. Church in Philadelphia, Pa. Her main focus is soul winning. She is a prayer warrior and operates in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Her latest book, "Living Holy & Healthy" was a mandate from God and  is doing well on the writers market.

 

She holds a D.Min, STM, & M.Div. from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia.  She holds a B.S. in Bible from Cairn University, and a B.S. in Secondary Education with concentration in English from Fort Valley State University. She serves on several committees in the Philadelphia Conference: Ministerial Efficiency, Conference Trustee, Board of Examiners for the Ministerial Institute, Spiritual Formation, Health and Healing, Christian Education, Missions and Disaster Relief.  She is a member of The Philadelphia Health Corporation, and The Powelton Village Civic Association. She served as Proctor for The Distance Learning M.Div. Program with I.T.C.. and taught in the Ministerial Institute at Philadelphia.

 

Esther is retired from Dept. of Defense after 32 years of successful service. She enjoys photography, nature walks, writing and traveling.

 

Her favorite song is, "If I Can Help Somebody."  Her life scripture is Matthew 6:33. Esther says, "The Lord spoke to me and said, "You take care of My people and I will take care of you."

Ecumenical Officer
Rev. Dr. A'Shellarien Lang

Rev. Dr. A’Shellarien Lang is a prolific author, preacher, and professor... She is the CEO of Desakajo Publishing and the author of Does Love Cover…THAT? Dr. Lang is the National Director of Training for Healing Communities. She is an Adjunct Professor for Harcum College where she teaches Leadership. She is an Instructor and 4th Year Advisor at City Wide Interdenominational Christian Training Institute (CWICTI).  She has a Master of Sacred Theology from Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia, and a Doctorate of Theology in Biblical Theology from Almeda University. God called her into ministry in 1999 and she yielded to the call in 2000. She was ordained in 2003 as a Minister of the Gospel at Gate To Heaven Ministry by Prophet C. A. Smith Sr. In January 2006 she was ordained in the Baptist tradition by Bishop C. M. Hudson Jr.  In 2014 she was ordained an Itinerate Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church. She currently serves as the Pastor of Bethel AME Church in Cookstown, New Jersey. 

Marshall(s)
Rev. Marie A. Patterson
I was appointed a Marshall in 1983 by the late, Bishop Richard Hildebrand.  In 1996, I served as General Conference Marshall. I am a First Episcopal District Marshall, Philadelphia Annual Chief Marshall, AME Preacher's Meeting Philadelphia, Harrisburg and Vicinity Chief Marshall, South District Chief Marshall, Zion AME Church Chief Marshall. I have served on all four Districts.  Currently a member of the ministerial staff at Zion AME Church.
 
Rev. Jacquie Wilson
Reverend Jacqueline A. Wilson is an ordained local elder and is a member of the ministerial staff at Emmanuel AME Church, in Philadelphia. Rev. Wilson also serves as the Church musician, Church School Superintendent & Head the Evangelism Ministry.
