Q:  Is there a fee for consultation?

A:  No.  The consultation is free!  During the consultation, Chism Group LLC will discuss the need for services, potential fees, timeline to complete the service, and more.  Afterwhich, Chism Group LLC will develop a project proposal for your review.

 

Q:  What are the costs for service?  

A:  Chism Group LLC's services are very affordable and can fit any budget.  There are several fee structure options, such as hourly rates, per project rates, or monthly installments.  Most services begin as low as $75.  Chism Group LLC will discuss the potential fee structure with you during the consultation.  The fee structure is finalized once the project proposal is executed.

Q:  Why should my business or organization have a website or be concerned with branding?

A:  Websites and branding can do many things for a business depending on what your goals are.  Each are considered as essential a part of your business as your services and products that you provide.  We will explain in great detail before we start your request(s).



Q:  Why should my company or business select Chism Group LLC to develop and design our website?

A:  Chism Group LLC offers design consultation, page creation, custom features, domain name registration, hosting setup, search engine registration and more at a very high level of satisfaction!  Chism Group LLC will develop a website for your business or personal needs completely and thoroughly.



Q:  What is a domain name?

A:  A domain name is a two-part web address unique to your specific website, such as www.yourname.com.  These web addresses, much like a postal address, let people find your site.  Domain names must be registered before they will work on the internet.  We can register your domain name for you.  Once registered, no one can take the address from you.



Q:  What does it cost to register a particular domain name?

A:  The initial domain name registration cost is included in your Chism Group LLC website purchase along with your monthly maintenance fee.  If at any time you decide to cancel your agreement with Chism Group LLC, you will be responsible for any and all registration fees.



Q:  What will I need to provide Chism Group LLC in order to have my website developed?

A:  You will need to provide Chism Group LLC your company logo, information, catalogs, photographs, and other essential information pertinent for your target market.  



Q:  What if I do not possess a logo, brochure or any other marketing materials?

A:  Chism Group LLC will develop these tools for your organization.  We can bring to life your ideas on many levels.



Q:  We are a non-profit organization, what can a website do for us?

A:  Almost every organization in the world is represented on the internet with a website.  With an organizational website, you can publish your newsletter, let the world know about your cause, distribute vital information, and more.  



Q:  What does the maintenance of a website consist of?

A:  It will consist of information that is provided by you in a orderly and timely manner to be updated on your website.  For example, suppose your online store decides on a sale price for an item.  You'll have to change the price on your website, and maybe even change your home page to let visitors know that the item is on sale.  Frequently updating your site keeps it fresh and alive and visitors to your site will appreciate your timely updates.  These changes are instantly available to your visitors.  You also may need to delete information or even add more information in the form of extra pages to your site.  All this falls under the "site maintenance" provided by Chism Group LLC.

Q:  Will people be able to find my website?

A:  Chism Group LLC will assist with adding your website to major search engines (i.e. Google, Yahoo!, and Bing).  We will also advise you of other listings you may be interested in such as Angie’s List, Manta, etc.

Q:  Does my organization have to secure the 501(c)(3) tax exempt status from the IRS to apply for funding?

A:  Though this is not a requirement for all grantmakers, most grantmakers will not provide funding to a nonprofit without a valid 501(c)(3) status determination letter from the IRS.

A:  You can start your search with Foundation Center. 



Q:  What information is generally required in a grant proposal or grant application?

A:  Here are a few key topics that appear on several grant applications:

• Who will you serve?

• What is the demographic profile(s) of your target population?

• Where will you serve?  Community?  City?  State?

• How will you provide the service/program?  What will be your program delivery model?

• Why are you offering the service/program?  What evidence do you have that your proposed service/program is needed/wanted?  What outcomes or impact do you expect to achieve?

• What is your program budget?  

• Financial records

• List of Board of Directors

• IRS award letter
