About Pastor Seales

The Rev. Dr. Esther L. Seales accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior when she was fourteen years old.  She believes in the power of prayer and fasting and knows that the Spiritual Gifts are operating today.  She lives with a sense of urgency and expectation in getting the Gospel of Jesus Christ out to all of God’s people every day!

Esther sees herself as a prayer warrior and motivator who with God’s help can pray people

through and get them up and going!

 

Esther is currently Pastor of Tyree African Methodist Episcopal Church in Philadelphia. 

Her main focus is soul winning, preaching and teaching the Gospel.  She served as Pastor

of Bethlehem A.M.E. Church in Langhorne, Pa., Assistant Pastor of Hickman Temple A.M.E.

Church and Associate Pastor of Jones Tabernacle A.M.E. Church in Philadelphia.  She has

taught over 50 Bible Classes at the various churches. She organizes Evangelistic Outreach

and many souls have come to Christ. She has led each church into corporate fasting and

prayer.

 

Esther enjoys academia and jokes about being a lifetime scholar.  She graduated with

honors from every school that she attended. She earned a Doctors of Ministry Degree,

Masters of Sacred Theology, and Masters of Divinity from The Lutheran Theological

Seminary at Philadelphia.  She holds a B.S. Degree in Bible from Philadelphia Biblical

University, (now known as Cairn University), in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, and a B.S.

Degree in Secondary Education from Fort Valley State University, in Fort Valley, Georgia.

 

She is a member of the Writer’s Institute of America.  She won First Place in the Christian

Book Writers Contest from Xulon Press in 2013. Esther’s latest book, “Living Holy & Healthy

is doing exceptionally well on the local market. She is a member of The United States

Achievement Academy, Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges,

Alpha Kappa Mu National Honor Society, Alpha Mu Gamma, Foreign Language Honor Society,

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, The Philadelphia Health Management Corporation, and

The Powelton Village Civic Association. She was honored by City Wide Interdenominational

Christian Training Institute.

 

In the Philadelphia Conference of the A.M.E. Church, Dr. Seales is currently serving  as: Parliamentarian for the A.M.E. Ministerial Alliance, for Philadelphia, Harrisburg, and Vicinity, instructor  for the Ministerial Training Institute,  member -  Board of Examiners,  Ministerial Efficiency Committee, Board of Trustees, Spiritual Formation, Missions and Disaster Relief, Christian Education, and Health and Healing.  She is a member of the Committee on Ministerial Orders for the Philadelphia District. And she served as proctor for the Interdenominational Theological Center’s Distance Learning Masters of Divinity Program in Atlanta, Ga.

 

Dr. Seales is a native of Sandersville, Georgia and relocated to Philadelphia after college graduation. She is enjoying retirement from a very successful career with the Department of Defense after thirty-two years of service.  She received many awards for outstanding service.

 

Her mission for life is to love and to help God’s people.  Esther says, “The Lord spoke to me and said, “You take care of my people, and I will take care of you.”

Her favorite song is, “If I Can Help Somebody.” Her favorite scripture is Matthew 6:33.
